The Autumn Series of Seminars Conducted by the International Laboratory of Landscape Ecology Has Ended.

On December 19, 2024, the eighth and final seminar "Dynamics of environmental management, climate and biological productivity of landscapes of Buryatia and Tuva in the late twentieth and early twenty-first centuries" was held

• The speakers - D.A. Degtyarev, an intern researcher at the MLLE FGST and E.G. Nagornaya, a teacher at FGST, spoke about the spatial and temporal structure of land use in the republics of Buryatia and Tyva over the past 40 years based on open geodata. Based on the NDVI open series, the dynamics of the bioproductivity of the territory of these subjects of the Russian Federation was determined and the first estimates of the dependence of this dynamics on climatic characteristics were made according to CHELSA (Climatologies at high resolution for the earth's land surface areas). The interim results of the work are presented and the directions of further research are considered
