'Landscape ecology: adaptation, resource and risk management (LEARRM – 2026)'
The conference focuses on landscape ecology as a scientific basis for land management under global change and increasing climate‑related and natural risks. Special emphasis is placed on applied aspects such as nature conservation and spatial planning, climate change adaptation, risk management and sustainable use of natural resources.
The aim of the conference is to discuss the current state and future directions of landscape ecology in Russia and worldwide, to present new methodological approaches and empirical results, and to provide a platform for exchange between researchers, practitioners and decision‑makers. The event is intended to foster national and international scientific cooperation and to integrate landscape‑ecological knowledge into policy and planning.
Researchers, lecturers, postgraduate students, conservation professionals and representatives of land‑use and environmental authorities interested in landscape patterns and processes, biodiversity, ecosystem services, agroecology and digital methods for analysing landscape dynamics are warmly invited to participate.
